About Ellen Brown

Ellen Brown is a certified professional coach who helps people navigate challenging life transitions with courage, hope, and optimism. As a survivor of child sexual abuse, she believes people have the strength and resilience to deal with whatever life hands them, and that there are lessons to be learned in even the darkest of times. Ellen takes a holistic approach to coaching that challenges clients to reach for fulfillment in all aspects of their life, including their careers, their relationships, their emotional and physical health, and their spirituality.

Ellen received her coach training certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (an ICF accredited school) and is a graduate of the prestigious Gestalt Training Program (Gestalt Institute of Cleveland). Having served as an award-winning writer for more than 25 years, she also holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in creative writing. When she’s not coaching clients, Ellen enjoys spending time in nature, experimenting with photography, and spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their beloved Tikka the Tiger cat.

Ellen lives and works in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. To lean more about her, you can read her blog post:  Why in the World I Transitioned into Coaching
